East Cork Harbour Marathon

EAST CORK HARBOUR MARATHON
OVERVIEW

The East Cork Harbour Marathon is a local initiative created to raise money for local communities and for Marymount Hospice in Cork where they raised 7500 Euro and also allowed the local committee to invest money in various local initiatives to bring the community together. I was involved in Creating a video promotion for the  Marathon to try and get people excited and interested in signing up for the race. Jason Nelligan helped out with recording the footage on DSLR’s and Brian Martin was recording on his drone and I edited the footage together myself.

Unfortunately, I was not able to record on the day of the race as I was running the half marathon, but I was roped in to wear a GoPro on my head for the whole 21km. This was something I volunteered for as it was my own local community.

MOBILITY & STRETCHING VIDEO
OVERVIEW

I was also involved in editing footage on an instructional video to inform the runners prior to the race on improving mobility and flexibility. This would help them go injury free and have a more enjoyable experience. I worked with physiotherapist Aisling O’Brien to produce the stretching and mobility videos for the East Cork Harbour Marathon.
